Review: Shunga Chocolate Body Sauce

Chad and I have tried food in the bedroom before. I had the genius idea to pick up a tube of green cake frosting one day at the grocery store. Later that night, after squirting over half of the tube onto each other, we realized our mistake. Cake frosting is pretty thick and it was really hard to lick off. We wound up having to shower to get it off and our skin was still stained green for a few days. We had kind of written off food in the bedroom at that point, but when Babeland offered me the opportunity to review the Shunga chocolate body sauce I was ready to try it again. I figured a product specifically designed to drizzle on a partner and be licked off would work a lot better, and I was right.

It arrived at my house a few short days before my anniversary trip. It came in a really pretty 3.5 oz glass bottle. It’s very round and pretty, with a black twist off cap. It came with a slender black foam brush with a fine tip for painting shapes and words out of the chocolate sauce. The label on the front had some old Kama Sutra style art work.

Ingredients:

Sugar
Water
Cocoa Powder
Sodium Citrate
Salt
Caramel Color
Potassium Sorbate
N&A Flavor
Vanillin
Citric Acid
FD&C Yellow 5

It’s basically the same as the chocolate sauces and syrups you drizzle over the top of ice cream. It tastes a like a mixture of milk and dark chocolates. It has a very loose consistency, so it’s easy to spread and easy to lick up. I prefer drizzling it because painting with that skinny little brush takes forever. You have to refill it frequently and it can get a bit tedious. I would recommend laying down and old towel or playing with it in the tub or shower. Because it has the same ingredients as regular chocolate sauce it will stain just like chocolate sauce does. Keep a damp rag handy to wipe  up any excess.

You can pretty much put it anywhere you want except for on the vulva and inside the vagina. The sugars could cause an infection. If you use it on the penis, be sure to wipe it off with the damp rag before penetration.You just really want to avoid getting this stuff inside any body cavities. We had a lot of fun using it!
