title pic It Takes Two to Tenga!

Posted by Phallicity on May 26, 2010

Okay, so it actually doesn’t as the Tenga is a masturbator and you can totally use this solo. I’m referring more to the fact that I’m reviewing both the Tenga Double Hole and the Tenga Hole Warmer.

Tenga makes a variety of male masturbation toys.

The  Double Hole is an Onacup, named after onanism (masturbation), made of jelly and plastic. It features a hole at the top and bottom – one a “bitter” side meant to simulate anal penetration, the other a “sweet” side meant to simulate vaginal penetration. Each sleeve is separate, simply overlapping each other inside the plastic cup. This Tenga comes pre-lubricated (containing: purified water, glycerin, sodium polyacrylate, phenoxy ethanol, and paraben) by Styrofoam sponges that are tucked inside the toy.

Bitter has larger bumps and ridges for a stimulating experience.

Each side delivers a very different feeling in use, the “bitter” side being much more snug and the nubs inside positioned to grip and squeeze against your shaft as you work it back and forth. The tight entry point is meant to give the feeling of anal sex and the larger grippers inside add to this feeling.

The “sweet” side is meant to mimic vaginal sex with a more comfortable and natural feeling entry point, a larger chamber for your penis and smaller nubs(though I haven’t seen a pussy with nubs inside.. And if I did, I’d probably run.) angled to stroke your shaft as you exit the Tenga.

"Sweet" has smooth ripples and angled nubs for a smooth and silky slide.

The texture inside, on either side, is wonderful. The toy has a great glide to it, the nubs rubbing and stroking your cock at your own pace. As an owner of a Tenga Flip Hole, I find this toy inferior, but an excellent choice for someone who wants to try out a Tenga product before sinking the money into a flip hole.

The Onacup is easy to handle and is meant for one-time use only. However, in practice, I’ve found you can strip the lining out of the plastic cup. By doing this, you are able to flip the liner inside out and clean it as you like. This is also my preferred way to use this toy, since without the plastic cup on the sleeve you can squeeze your cock while you stroke, adding a more direct pressure even than the Tenga Flip Hole. That being said, this is not made as sturdy as the Flip and after a few uses and cleaning, the wear and tear starts to show.

With the cup removed, you can add wonderful pressure to your self-lovin'.

When using the Tenga Flip Hole or Double Hole Onacup, I’ve used the Tenga Hole Warmer in preparation for the experience. The Hole Warmer is a plastic sheath about six inches long filled with a solution that hardens and heats upon activation. To do so, you simply click the metal disk inside and voila! It’s like magic! I get mystified every time I use the damn thing, though I know it’s a simple chemical reaction, that is still cool to see.

Once hardened, slip it into a lubed up Tenga toy for about five minutes or until you reach your desired temperature and go to town! Cleaning is easy, just your normal toy cleaner and a rinse to polish it off. To return the warmer to normal, simply boil it for a few minutes and you’ll see the solid crystal dissolve. Once it’s dissolved, let cool completely before use.

As neat as the product is, I found it simply made the lube “not cold” as opposed to “pleasantly warm”. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely an improvement! However, I was hoping for a little more heat.

I’ve used several Tenga products and enjoyed them all, these two are no exception. The Double Hole Onacup is a great toy for anyone seeking to test the waters for an awesome masturbator. The Hole Warmer is a nice (and affordable!) way to make that experience more enjoyable. Great products from a great company.

If you want to try your own Tenga Onacup and Hole Warmer they’re available at Babeland.com. They’ve even got Tenga Eggs, which are another inexpensive way to try out the Tenga materials and textures. Thanks so much to Babeland for sending us these products to review! We’ve had a great time playing with them.
