Summer is here and it’s almost time for my birthday! If there’s one word that’s synonymous with this time of year, it’s fun. So what better way to kick off summer vacation than with a contest for a few Fun Factory favorites?
Yes, for my birthday I have requested that the fabulous folks at Vibrator.com assist me in hosting a Summer Splash Giveaway! We’ll be giving one winner the choice between three Fun Factory toys that come in bright, summery colors!
  • Whirly: A dolphin-shaped dildo with a g-spot curve and an adorable little face. Available in turquoise or candy rose.
  • Scrudy: A swirly textured dildo excellent for g-spot/p-spot stimulation. Vibrator.com has it in fuschia.
  • Flexi Felix: An adorable set of anal beads with a beetle face for a handle. Available in candy blue, pink or black.
So how do you enter to win one of these great toys?

    My fondest summer memory would be all of the days spent at the beach with my family. My Father and Uncles all surf, one of my Uncles professionally. I remember sitting on shore with my Sisters, Mom and Aunts, watching the guys surf in total awe. I loved traveling and watching the competitions, and when my uncle won.. I was so proud.
    After my parents split, we stopped surfing as a family. I really missed that. But hey c’est la vie.

    My favorite summer memory? Probably Wisconsin Dells. I’ve been there on two seperate occasions – once with my family and once with my boyfriend’s family – and both of them really had been a ton of fun. I’d love to go back at some point.

    One of my best summer memories was when I was going into eighth grade and was in drama summer camp. The productions we put on were really fun. Not to mention there was a cutie patootie in my camp that I had the *hugest* crush on. Silly me I focused all my attention on him instead of this great guy who had a crush on me. :(

    Funfactory is such a great toy brand! The Flexi Felix has been on my wishlist for a while, I’d love him in blue. :D

    Fun Summer memory? My parents taking me to the beach when I was little I don’t even remember much detail I just remember having a lot of fun playing in the water and in the sand. I also remember writing about it in school when I was asked to answer smiler thing for class.

    My favorite summer memories have to be hanging out with my friends, doing things like messing around, going dancing at a gay nightclub, going to renaissance faires, movie nights, etc. Spending half my summer at my college’s theatre intensive course also bring back great memories.

    Hm. Summer in Boston. Sitting on the Common, laying in the grass. Or sitting outside at a cafe on Newbury Street and drinking a Sam Cherry Wheat with my summer salad. Absolute heaven.

    As for the toy I want? I think I want Scrudy.

    The long summers of childhood were my favorite- building tree forts with my brothers, water fights with hoses, spending three months wearing nothing but the same bathing suit and flipflops!

    I have very fond summer memories of going to Opryland, which was a local theme park that is now a flooded out shopping mall. It had roller coasters, water rides, carnival games, overpriced food, and corny shows. I miss it!

    My choice of Fun Factory toy would be Flexi Felix in candy blue. :)

    I think my favorite summer memory would have to be right after high school when the family and I went to Epcot. I was insanely into anything Japanese, had taken 4 years of German, and couldn’t wait to travel the globe. Out of everything there, though, I remember the fireworks the most. I think we were over by the British section. I could smell the fish and it was making my tummy grumble. Hungry kitty! =^_^= Mom and I grabbed a table while Dad went to the order window to get fish n’ chips for each of us. Being the total country hick that he is, Dad got royally freaked out by the British guy at the window calling him “mate”. Of course, mom and I laughed our heads off. ^-^ It was funny, ok? Dad’s just a lovable bumpkin. It was starting to get dark as we finished our dinners. People were starting to crowd over by us and we were all wondering what was going on. And then the fireworks started out on the water with the big globe in the center. Mom said there were images being projected on it. I couldn’t see. I hadn’t brung my glasses on vacation :p Ditzy me. It was still pretty. Torches were lit around the perimeter, so Mom and I scuddled over to one to keep warm.

    I miss Epcot. I really hope I can go back there someday. It won’t be this year, though… Hubby’s parents are having a family reunion and are making us go to DisneyLand in California. That’s great and all, but I don’t like his side, I find it weird to take 4 adult sons and your daughter-in-law to Disney (Epcot is more my speed. I prefer more grown-up things to Mickey and Tinkerbell), and I hate where they live. I’ll be stuck there for 2 weeks if this whole “vacation” plans out. Pray against it for me, everyone! I’m figuring maybe I can fake sick or pretend we lost the plane tickets during the move to our new apartment :p

    I think my best summer memories so far are the summers where I get to go visit my Aunt & Uncle. They have the best house I have ever seen – I love getting to see and play with my little cousins. They live in a great area and there is so much to see, I could never get bored. Even though I have seen it before.

    The other summer memory that is very great to me is the summer before last summer. The summer of 2008 – that was the summer I met my current partner and I will never forget it. Especially because he is my soulmate.

    I’m interested in trying out beads now, so I would love the Flexi Felix in black.

    i’d like the scrudy in fuschia :)

    one of my most fun summer memories was being in LA last year. i was hanging out on the beach with this cute girl i had met at a bar a few days ago. she managed to convince me to venture out into the scary-looking waves, and we floated around in the clear water in the sun for a while, talking about queerness and tons of things. it was really nice ~

    I actually recreate my favorite memory every summer. Every May when Target stocks those plastic kiddie pools, my senses rush back to the summers of my childhood. And every May, I buy a new little pool. But as an adult, I don’t actually get in the pool. Instead, I make myself a strawberry daiquiri, fill up the fool and lounge next to it (and dip my feet in).

    That blue Whirly would be a great addition to the ol’ collection!

    My favorite summer memory is my first year working with my grandma, feeding firefighters. It was cool to travel for free to all different states and meeting awesome people.

    Two summers ago my sweety and I went hiking and camping down at the bottom of the Grand Canyon :) It was very exciting, especially when we were on our last night down there, we made love at the bottom of the canyon :)

    Last summer, my boyfriend came with us when a whole bunch of my family rented a big beach house in Virginia Beach together. It was the first summer I’d ever worn a bikini (they’re hard to find in large cup sizes!), so I was showing off a bit. I left my cover-up open as a few of us walked the short block to the beach… and as we crossed a street, I distracted a driver so badly he almost got in a wreck. He didn’t, so it just ends up being a funny memory. After that, my boyfriend and I made a huge sand castle on the beach. Then we spend almost an hour frantically making walls and moats and laughing our butts off as we tried to keep the tide from washing away our castle. It was so much fun.

    My fun summer memory was my wedding… for some reason my sister in law chose the same day AND time to get married, of course at a different location so my inlaws couldn’t come for the vows. Afterwards we had a big social for both couples. It was mainly the people my SIL had invited, and I do wish I had had a bigger wedding and invited more of my own family but we still had lots of fun. We had so many people that needed a ride home afterwards and for some reason couldn’t get any cabs to come since it was 4 am! My dad ended up taking several trips with his van to drive people home while we waited and drank the leftover booze.

    Okay lady i posted it on facebook i think this is such a cute fun contest.. alrighty my favorite summer memory seriously was when my sister and my husbands were deployed( not for that reason) but because she came to visit and sort of randomly we decided to drive about 1500 miles back home to ga to visit some family and friends.. the family was halarious when me my sis and bro are together its insane throwing eggs in the house and scaring the crud out of each other.. oh and the friends were awsome its always nice to catch up even though we hadn’t seen any of them in quite awhile it was like we never missed a beat.. one friend got drunk and was acting like a mermaid so funny.. lol i will never forget that.. its simple stuff we did like have dinner at her moms house and sleep on a living room floor while some gay flamers where doing it in the other room like we wouldnt know.. anyway like i said it wasnt anything death defying or life changing but it was home and real friends and family and being in the military sometimes you real miss it you know.. so thats my fav memory and i so want the scrudy in what ever color iam ready for some fun haha thanks

    One of my fondest summer memories is from when I was little… like 9 or 10, my family had just gotten a puppy. Every summer, we’d fill up this kiddie pool in the backyard to play in, and of course the dog wanted to follow all of us kids wherever we went – only he didn’t like water. He’d still jump in the pool after us, though, and immediately get a kind of “D: why is this happening?!” expression and run off. The temptation of flailing kids must have been too much, though, because he just kept repeating his ‘ordeal.’ XD

    I think the Scrudy looks the most interesting – and a pretty color.

    My favorite summer memory is actually my fourth of July tradition. My family and I live out in the country and we always have a wonderful sedate fourth, driving around looking for fireworks. I lounge in the back-seat, my eyes half-closed, listening to Cat Stevens trough my headphones, occasionally looking up and seeing bright bursts of color across the sky. It’s very relaxing and meditative.

    My favorite summer memory would have to be last year, hanging out on July 4th with my neighbors and just having an amazing time by the pool. I lived with a bunch of older ladies, so listening to them all crack sexy jokes while I ate smores and swam around was just the best to me. Totally my adopted second family.

    My best summer memory was the summer of 1978 I was 14 and had only become aware of my effect on guys the previous spring. My mother had just gotten remarried and he had two son one 9 mo younger than me and one 3 yrs older. All of us (teens) slept on the porch on the nights when it was unbearably stuffy in our cabin and my best memory is of pretending to be asleep as R would lightly brush his hand over my thigh, cleavage or neck. We never did more those nights on the porch but they were so full of young lust and forbidden pleasures that hot summer nights always take me back to the front porch of that cabin.
