Review: Kama Sutra Sweetheart

There’s a time and a place for different things. Sometimes I like trying out new toys. Other times it’s lingerie. This time, it’s the Kama Sutra Sweetheart Kit. Fascinations graciously allowed me the chance to try out this cute little kit that I’ve had my eye on for a while.

Strawberry Sweetheart Kit

Kama Sutra makes a huge line of sensual products including lubricants, tasty oils, lotions and edible body dusts. The Kama Sutra Sweetheart combines the best of everything they make into a clever little heart-shaped box. It comes it two flavors, strawberry and chocolate.

I picked the strawberry.

Included are sample sizes of their Strawberry Creme Body Soufflé, White Chocolate Body Paint and a Strawberry Dreams Honey Dust. The dust has a feather applicator and the body paint comes with a brush. The perfect selection for a fun night in, and since it’s sample sized it’s great to take along on a weekend getaway. I’ll break down each item separately.

Strawberry Creme Body Soufflé: This is an edible lotion with a light strawberry flavor. It’s meant to be rubbed into the skin and leave behind a faint, sweet strawberry taste. It’s about the consistency of yogurt or regular body lotion. It goes on smooth and manages to leave skin feeling silky and smelling yummy, on top of being edible. I love that it’s not overpowering, as many edible products are. It comes in a 1.8 oz jar, which is should last quite a while.

White Chocolate Body Paint: This is an edible body paint that tastes like white chocolate. It comes with a small, stiff paint brush. Though stiff, the brush isn’t uncomfortable or painful to use. It’s just firm due to the consistency of the body paint, which fairly thick. The flavor is a bit stronger than the Body Soufflé, but it’s still not overpowering. It’s got a sweeter taste, that I personally enjoyed quite a bit. One thing to remember is that it must be refrigerated after opening to keep it from spoiling. This will also make it a bit thicker and harder to spread, so you may want to take it out a bit to warm up before use. The jar is about 1 oz worth of body paint, and it will last through several uses.

Strawberry Dreams Honey Dust: The honey dust comes in a small plastic bag with a twist tie, and it’s situated inside of a red satin drawstring bag for presentation purposes. It comes with a mini-feather duster that makes application fun and easy. It leaves behind a light, strawberry flavored dust. I’ve had issues with the honey dust before, due to the very light, powdery consistency. I had the same issues with it due to my allergies and asthma.

The kit comes in a heart-shaped cardboard box, making it a great option for gifting. The box is tasteful with the words ‘Sweet Heart’ embossed on the front in a gold, cursive font.

Strawberry Souffle: Water, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Flavor, Polyacrylamide, C13,14, Isoparrafin, Laureth 7, PEG 100 Stearate, Carbomer, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Sorbate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Red 40, Red 33 and Benzyl Alcohol.

White Chocolate Body Paint: Corn Syrup, Palm Kernel Oil, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Non Fat Dried Milk, Whole Milk, Glycerol Lacto Esters of Fatty Acids, Soya Lecithin, Salt, Vanillin, Ethyl Alcohol, Water, Food Starch, Titanium Dioxide, Flavor and Sodium Benzoate.

Strawberry Honey Dust: Corn Starch, Honey Flavor, Silica, Sodium Saccharine, Red 33 and Red 40.

You’ll want to avoid using these products internally, because they have some ingredients that can cause irritation or infection. They would be safe to use for a blow job, since they dissolve with water, prior to penetration. Otherwise, stick to external use. You don’t want to ruin your night.

I enjoyed using my Kama Sutra Sweetheart kit and think it would make a great gift for an upcoming birthday or even Mother’s Day, if you get your wife gifts for being such a great mom to your kids.
