Sunday: Weekly Wrap-It-Up #35
Posted by Sarahbear on May 1, 2011
It’s been a good week. Mostly busy doing family type stuff. We spent Easter at my in-laws house and had a fairly enjoyable time. Until it was time to leave, that is. I was standing on the driveway with my mother-in-law, Chad and father-in-law as the kids played outside. We were just chatting when I glanced down and noticed that next to my mother-in-law’s vehicle there was my name in pink chalk. I looked harder after I recognized my name and saw that it read ‘Kim and Sarah are fat imense freaks’.
Way to embarrass the crap out of me. I tried to play it off and ask who wrote it, looking at my oldest son. He said he didn’t know and even crossed it out with the chalk he was drawing with. My father-in-law said it looked like some of I’s handiwork. I is my brother-in-law’s baby’s mother’s oldest son from her first marriage. He’s about 10 or 11 and he’s a little asshole in training. I was on the verge of tears for the entire drive home, but I did talk to my son about it and how he should let us know if he notices I doing anything rude or cruel to his cousins or siblings.
I spent some of the week trying to de-personalize this blog. Not out of shame or trying to hide anything. I’ve just made the decision to transition this into a more sex-review and related items type blog and create a separate, more personal blog. It just feels weird to talk about my weight loss and fitness goals on this blog. I also have hopes of reviewing more fitness gear, cookbooks and such. It would be impossible to do on this blog, as many companies will not affiliate with blogs that have sexual content on them. It’s going to take a couple of weeks to get the blogs sorted out, but I’m looking forward to it.
My sister came over to exercise with me a lot this week. She discovered she was pre-diabetic and is making an effort to fix it through dietary changes and exercise. We kicked ass in Turbo Fire. I took some photos of my weight loss progress, but I’m going to save that for the more personal blog.
I’ve got a lot to do today and it’s difficult to focus on writing with the kids home from school when Chad is not also home to distract them. I hope everyone has a great week.

Kayla said,
I know how you feel. I love Kinky World for reviews, but it feels completely out of place to talk about personal things or my own weight-loss. It’s why I started the Kinky Life blog so I could talk about those things. Let me know when your new blog is up. I always think about doing a separate blog just for other types of product reviews, but I doubt anyone wants me to review their fitness gear anyway.
I bet the weight loss progress looks amazing! I’m looking forward to seeing it!
