Review: Galore Chemise and Thong

I was hesitant to order a brand of lingerie I wasn’t familiar with, especially with all of my weight loss. I took the plunge anyway and purchased a huge order from Eden Fantasys just in time for Valentine’s Day and my tenth wedding anniversary. One of the pieces I picked out was the Galore Chemise and Thong by Seven Til Midnight in a 1X/2X. It fit perfectly, made me feel confident and sexy, and was beyond comfortable.

The Chemise has a very simple and basic design. Why reinvent the wheel, right? It’s basically a sheer, full body slip. Thin straps, simple cups and a cute little ruffle around the bottom. The entire piece is sheer with opaque polka dots, purple embroidering around the seams and an adorable purple bow between the cleavage and on the lower, right hip area. It comes with a comfortable and attractive black thong too.

The sizing is accurate! The 1X/2X should fit a 16/18, D-DD cups, 40-46″ bust, 36-38″ waist, and 42-48″ hip. My bust is 45″, waist is 41″ and my hips are 48″. I wear a 36DD -38DD bra and usually wear a 16/18 shirt and 18 pant. It fit me like a glove. The way it fits makes me think it will still be extremely flattering as I continue to lose weight. the cups are generous and the material is stretchy. I wouldn’t recommend getting it if you were much farther out of the measurement range than I am, but anyone in that range would look amazing in it. The thongs is made of the same stretchy black polka dotted material, and it’s so comfortable. I’m not a big thong girl. I like panties that cover my behind. I actually prefer a boyshort cut or a bikini cut. I would make an exception for this thong though. Chad almost threw it away after he washed clothes (that should show you how infrequently I wear thongs…)

Pricewise, it’s a no brainer. Under $25 for an incredibly flattering piece of lingerie? Yes, please.

Bust: 17″ laid flat (20″ stretched, 40″ around)

Waist: 20″ laid flat (26″ stretched, 52″ around)

Hip: 25″ laid flat (30″ stretched, 60″ around)

Length: 23″ long

Thong (waistband): 16″ laid flat (30″ stretched, 60″ around)

Thong (um…length): 17″ front to back… very stretchy

Care: Hand wash and hang to dry

I don’t know that you will find a more flattering piece of lingerie. Nobody looks bad in a chemise that hugs your curves in all the right places. I’ve got a pretty big collection of lingerie, and I think this is my favorite piece.
