Eroscillator 2 Plus

At first, I toyed around with the different heads. I was trying to figure out what I liked the most. Sometimes I got off. Sometimes I didn’t. Sometimes there was way too much stimulation. Sometimes there wasn’t enough. Then my sex drive took a nose dive, and I stuck it in my nightstand drawer for almost a year. I couldn’t be bothered to use any of my toys on a regular basis, let alone one that seemed like a crap shoot. Fast forward to the new year. I cleaned out my toy box and got rid of a bunch of things I didn’t like, but I held onto the Eroscillator because I wanted to give it another shot. The fact that I paid cash for it also contributed heavily to my desire to keep it around. One afternoon, when I had the house to myself and woke up very horny after a nap, I decided it was time for the Eroscillator to show me it was worth keeping.

That afternoon, I had one of the most intense orgasms I have ever had.

I’ve mentioned before, perhaps not here, that my weight affected my sexual function. A lot of fat people are capable of having very active, wonderful and pleasurable sex lives. I was capable of sex, but where my fat deposited itself… really got in the way of my pleasure zones. Who would imagine that you could have fatty labia? Now that I’ve lost weight, everything is way more sensitive and responsive to stimulation.

I’m supposed to be reviewing the Eroscillator though. It’s basically an electric toothbrush, at least as far as the way it functions. Most vibrators have a motor inside that creates this buzzing, intense vibration that sort of jackhammers your clitoris. The Eroscillator has attachable heads that move back and forth, very quickly, which mimics the way your fingers or a tongue might move (if they had a powerful motor behind them). It may not sound like a huge difference, but it is.

The one I ordered came with 3 different heads, with 6 separate sides. So each attachment had different textures on either side of it. The first is called “Ball and Cup” and it’s pretty self explanatory, if you look at the name. One side is a rounded ball with three raised nubs, the other is a shallow cup shaped hole.

The second is “Grapes and Cockscomb”, another self explanatory attachment. One side is shaped like a cluster of grapes and the other has prongs, like a comb, though there is no space between them.

The other attachment is the “Golden Spoon”. One side is shaped like a spoon, with a very small raised nub on the inside tip, the other is a flat disc with nine raised nubs in an oval shape.

Each attachment has a unique sensation when it’s being used and there are several other attachments you can purchase separately or with the upgraded version of the Eroscillator. I can hardly handle the intensity of the first setting on the original Eroscillator, so I’m just going to invest in the extras later on. I did have the fingertip attachment, which was really awesome. It needed more lubricant than the others, but the marshmallow texture felt really good. Somehow it got punctured and I’ll have to buy a new one though.

If you had asked me last year about the Eroscillator, I’d have told you not to waste your money. Now I find myself reaching for it all the time. I think I’ve used it three times this past week alone. Of course, the fact that it has a plug is pretty useful (the cord is like 12 feet long on this thing, so no worries about not being able to find an outlet close enough to where you need to use it.) I don’t have to worry about whether or not I’ve charged the battery or if the batteries are going to die in the middle of my orgasm. I just plug it up behind my nightstand and tuck it into the top drawer, so it’s easy to grab whenever I want to use it. I guess you can plainly see that if you asked me today if you should get an Eroscillator, I would drive you to the store myself and put it in your cart.

Sampler Set

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of JimmyJane products. Well, their massage products. I’ve yet to really test many of their vibrators. I love their candles and ceramic massagers so much that I didn’t just buy a set for myself  last Christmas. I also bought some for my parents. I picked a fragrance I knew each of them would like and got them the Contour M. For Chad and I, I picked up the Afterglow Sampler set and the Contour I. I really wanted the Contour Q as well, but it doesn’t seem to be in stock anywhere.

I guess I’ll start with the sampler. It’s a set of 6 candles in some of JimmyJane’s best scents:

1. Bourbon – This is a really musky, woodsy scent.
2. Cucumber Water – Similar to the favorite cucumber scented body lotions available everywhere. My second favorite in the set.
3. Dark Vanilla – A heavy vanilla scent that’s less sweet smelling than your average vanilla lotion or candle.
4. Grapefruit – Citrus-sweet scent that I wasn’t very fond of.
5. Pink Lotus – Difficult to describe, but my absolute favorite of the bunch.
6. Truffle and Gardenia – Very floral scent.

Each candle is a little less than half the size of the regular sized candles, standing at 1 & 1/4″ tall. I probably got about 5-8 massages out of each candle, and Chad uses a liberal amount of the melted wax. The oil melts fairly quickly (much quicker than LELO’s candles) and spreads well. You can get enough for a massage after about 20 minutes of burning. I usually take a shower and do all my pre-bedtime stuff while it’s lit. By the time I’m done, there’s enough to work with. The best thing about massage candles is that the wax gets heated to the absolute perfect temperature. It’s warm enough to relax the muscles and be sensual, but it’s not hot enough to blister your skin. It’s quite moisturizing and can be a tad heavy during the summer months if you live in a humid place like I do. During the winter, when skin tends to be dryer, it’s perfect.

There are some perks with getting the sampler instead of the full sized candles. Of course, you get to try out a wider variety of scents if you’re unsure which you or your partner would prefer. They also make excellent gifts since they come in the simple white box with the gorgeous pink ribbon tied around it. I’ve gushed before about how perfect JimmyJane products are for gifts due to their simple yet pretty packaging. You can give the set all together in the box, where it’s sort of like a box of chocolates with the guide showing what scent is where. Or, you can take the mini-candles and stuff them into a stocking (they’re labeled on the bottom and sealed, so don’t worry about confusing the scents or them spilling) along with the JimmyJane Contour ceramic massagers. I put my parents stuff in a big basket and they loved it.

Speaking of the ceramic massagers, I picked up the Contour I* along with my sampler. It works with the Contour M by fitting into the grooves and creates a handle to roll it around with. All of the massagers can be used alone or combined with each other. The ceramic can be heated or cooled in a bowl of warm or cold water, and it maintains it’s temperature for a while. This is really great with the candles because the warm wax heats up the ceramic to just the right temperature. I absolutely love all of these and can’t recommend them enough.

The one thing I do want to mention about the candles is that you want to keep something covering them when they’re not being used. The wax is a different texture than regular candles and the dust from the air sticks to it. You may also want to pinch off the blackened part of the wick to prevent the charred part from flaking off into the candle. You don’t really want that mixed in with your massage oil.

Once I complete this post and publish it, I’m going to get in my exercise with Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (Day 4, Level 1). Then, I’ll shower and slip on the sexy new lingerie I got from Eden Fantasys a couple of days ago. Ting Ting Head Tuner

Last month I was browsing products at Eden Fantasys when I saw the Ting Ting Head Tuner. Despite the name reminding me of a headache inducing band, I decided to ask them if they’d let me review it. The weight of my hair gives me headaches all the time, if I don’t go and have it thinned out and trimmed often enough. I had heard this type of massager was really good at easing the pain. I was not disappointed.

I guess we’ll talk about the packaging first. You’re ordering this from a sex toy shop, so there’s a concern for some that the products arriving at their door don’t alert the mailman, neighbors, roommates  (and possibly your parents, if you still live at home) to what is coming. Eden Fantasys always ships your products in plain, nondescript boxes and the return address is Web Merchants. With the Ting Ting Head Tuner, you don’t even have to slink off to the privacy of your bedroom before you open the box. The plastic clamshell package just has a blue insert with photos of a woman with a pony tail in a sweatband using it. The instructions are written on this insert, explaining how to insert the (included!) 2AA batteries, cycle through the functions and a couple of before and after photos to show how it stimulates the scalp.

Once you’ve got the batteries installed, it’s ready to go. You can use one of the two yellow buttons on the handle to turn it on and choose one of the four speeds (low steady, high steady, low variation, high variation) to enjoy. Even though I describe some of the vibration patterns as ‘high’, the Ting Ting isn’t going to jackhammer your head. What good would that be to relieve headaches?! All of the vibrations are gentle, deep, and thrummy. They’re carried through each of the 10 long metal legs and massage the scalp. There are also 5 really short metal legs in the center, but they kind of hurt to use so I never push the massager all the way down on my head. The short legs actually aren’t shown on the pictures in the packaging.

Handle

I’ve used this thing like 3 times a week to relieve headaches. Sometimes, with more intense headaches (migraine level), it’s not always comfortable to use. Most of the time though, it helps alleviate some of the pain until the ibuprofen kicks in. It’s also suppose to help with hair loss, since it massages the scalp and increases blood circulation in the area. My hair is very thick and heavy, so I can’t attest to how it works for this, but it makes sense that it would.

Some things to note:

You shouldn’t use this product if you have an internal disorder or if you’re pregnant. I’m not sure why, but the package insert urges against this. If you’re concerned and still interested, you could always ask your doctor. It also says not to use the massager for extended periods of time, but in five minute intervals. The legs are adjustable, but you want to avoid bending them too much because they will break off. Think wire hangers, except lighter and thinner. If you wiggle the metal back and forth long enough, it breaks off. It’s just the nature of metal wire like this, not a product defect.

I really appreciated having the Ting Ting Head Tuner handy when a headache came on in the evening. It does wind up working as a sex aid, because it’s hard to get in the mood when your head is throbbing. Want one for yourself? You can get them at Eden Fantasys. I’ve recently partnered up with the wonderful folks at Eden Fantasys and created my own store. I thought it would be a great idea to narrow down some of the choices with most of my favorites. I’ve been a first time buyer of sex toys and I know it can be overwhelming when you’re presented with so many choices. Heck, it’s still that way now and I’ve got a collection of products worth about $3,000!

What I’ve done is picked through and listed products that I actually own and have used. I also chose products from companies I love. Even if I haven’t used the products yet, these are things I fully intend to purchase. Nothing that I wouldn’t personally buy is listed. Polka-Dot Mesh Corset

I have taken a really big liking to buying myself sexy lingerie over the last year. I actually purchased this particular corset last Christmas from Eden Fantasys. I got it to surprise Chad as he had never seen me in a corset before. I’d never been fortunate enough to own one until then.

The Polka-Dot Mesh Corset is very similar to the Red Bow Mesh Corset I reviewed a few months back (and another one I’ll be reviewing very soon). The material is comfortable and stretchy and the basic design is similar. This one is solid black, with plastic boning, satin bows and lots of ruffles to help create that hourglass look. The thing that’s awesome about the mesh corsets is that you can achieve the sexy curves while still being able to breathe.

One of the main differences I noted between the two corsets is that the Polka-Dot Mesh one has a thick, elastic band stitched in along the waist. I feel like this helped significantly with shaping the body. It also makes the corset fit more true to size, at least according to the measurements on Coquette’s size chart. I believe most of the women who reviewed the red one noted that you should order a size down with that one. I’m glad that this one is a bit more snug because of my recent weight loss. I’ve had to pass along my Bow Mesh corset to a new, happy recipient, but the Polka-Dot one still fits me very well.

Besides giving you a cinched waist, this corset also covers up the tummy. This is trouble zone for a lot of women, especially if you’re like me and have the left over mommy pooch from pregnancy. The length of this style of corset goes down far enough to hide that for me. It’s perfect when combined with your favorite pair of sexy panties and thigh highs. Why thigh highs? Because it comes with 4 garter straps.

My biggest issue with this piece is the lack of breast support. Corsets are suppose to push your breasts up, but the cups on this (and other mesh Coquette corsets I’ve tried) are just flat. If you’ve got small or perky boobs, you might be fine, but those of us with large breasts will be a bit disappointed. I actually think this problem would be really easily remedied with the addition of an underwire and perhaps a smaller plastic boning along the tops of the cups. Just enough to help create some definition and support.

The other annoyance is that it’s closed with a million tiny little hooks and eyes. If you don’t know what those are, they’re bra hooks, only these go all the way down your back. This can be difficult to arrange a surprise with because you’ll have to fasten it yourself and if you can’t dislocate your shoulders you’ll have to do it where you can reach them and twist it around. I have done it this way each time I wear it, so it is doable, even when you’re stretching it to it’s maximum capacity. Otherwise, you can have your partner help you put it on.

Like a bra, there are multiple rows of hooks. This means it will last a long time. Once the elastic is a little worn out (or you’ve lost 23lbs), you can switch the next row of hooks. As infrequently as you would wear a corset like this, you shouldn’t have to worry about it wearing out at all.

I commented on how it was accurately sized, so I guess it would be good to talk about measurements. When I first purchased it I was in a 42DD bra and wore a 1X/2X or 16/18 top. I weighed about 268 lbs. It fit, snugly, but it was still very flattering. Now I am in a 38DDD bra and wear a L/XL top or 14/16 (depending on the brand or cut, of course). I also weigh 245 lbs. It fits more comfortably now.

Hip: 39″ unstretched, 49″ stretched

Length: 17″

All measurements will stretch quite a bit, aside from the length. So it does fit a wide range of sizes.

I’ve cared for it by hand washing it after every few wears and lying it flat to dry. There are ribbons, just like skirts, on the sides that you can hang it with. I prefer to hang it because stuffing it into a drawer flattens the bows and ruffles a bit. It stores well either way, you’ll just need to take the time to fluff it a bit after it’s been in a drawer.

All in all, it’s a really great corset. It’s really sexy and flattering, it’s sturdy and well made and it’s even cute enough to wear out if you were so inclined. Emma Stone even rocked one in her most recent movie ‘Easy A’!

52 Weeks of Romance available at Eden Fantasys

Right before Christmas, I requested this cute little item from Eden Fantasys for review. I thought it would make a great stocking stuffer and it would give my husband and I new ideas for keeping up with being romantic throughout 2011. I forgot to put them in Chad’s stocking, but that didn’t really matter. We can still use them anyway.

52 Weeks of Romance is a series of his and hers scratch off cards. Each card has a short set of instructions (in French and English) that you are suppose to follow in order to add a little extra romance to every week of the year. Well, however long it takes you to use them up. There’s no hard and fast rule that you have to use them every week. There are 52 of them though , 26 for him and 26 for her.

The cards come in a small box that’s ideal for sticking in a gift basket. I love making gift baskets, if you can’t tell from some of my other reviews. Inside the box the cards are folded up in long stacks. They do need to be separated before use, but they have perforated edges and it doesn’t take much time at all. After separating them you can store them in the pretty black satin bag they come with. Then you can either set a schedule up and alternate with your partner drawing cards out of the bag, or you could just use them whenever the urge to be romantic strikes and you need an extra idea. Just scratch it off and follow the directions.

I don’t want to give away all the surprises because that’s no fun, however I do want to give an idea of what some of the romantic instructions are. My most recent card said:

Love Note

Take a moment to write a few words from the heart. Use a scrap piece of paper, a card, the peanut butter jar, an email, the sand at the beach… Remind your loved one why you love him as much as you do. Surprise him with your simple declaration when he is least expecting it.

It then repeats the instructions in French. A lot of them are cute and simple like this, but some of them will require more planning or a little creativity. You might not have some of the items it suggests, but you can feel free to improvise. It’s the thought that counts. It will mean that much more if you have to put a little extra effort into it. Since the cards are his and hers, they’re designed for heterosexual couples in mind. Most of them contain instructions that most partners would appreciate, no matter their gender, so it wouldn’t necessarily be a waste for same sex couples.

I’ve enjoyed using them so far and I look forward to finishing the cards. Once I’m done I’m sure I can find something to use the black satin bag for. With Valentine’s Day coming up in less than a month, they’d make a great gift idea for that special someone in your life.
